Job description

We are an Architectural Millwork company specializing in the commercial restaurant and retail industry. Our projects involve custom product that is milled, manufactured and/or assembled at our onsite location in Cerritos then later sent out to be installed. We are seeking full-time assistance in our Drafting Department. Drafter should have good understanding of cabinet / counter top construction and drawing standards to adhere to the industry's governing bodies. Must have a minimum 3 years Custom Millwork AutoCAD experience.

Job Requirements:

  • MUST have AutoCAD experience
  • Draw and edit production shop drawings for client approval.
  • Collaborate with Project Coordinators for best engineering methods
  • Drafter will identify and communicate possible problems with designs and construction
  • Must have understanding of wood and metal products
  • Must communicate with necessary fabrication departments
  • Be familiar with cabinet and counter-top construction and drawing standards
  • Flexible schedule (Some Saturdays required during heavy season).
  • Autodesk required and Revit/Sketch-up a plus.
  • Proficient in MS Office including Outlook and Excel.
  • Detail oriented and proactive.
  • Experience in high-end commercial casework a plus.
  • Time management skills and team player.
