What types of projects and materials can I expect to work with as a custom millwork professional?

As a Custom Millwork professional, you'll typically work on a wide range of projects such as cabinetry, moldings, doors, built-ins, and specialty wood fixtures for both residential and commercial spaces. Materials often include hardwoods, softwoods, veneers, and engineered wood products, depending on client specifications and design requirements. The variety of projects allows for frequent collaboration with designers, architects, and contractors, ensuring each piece is tailored to the client’s vision. This diversity in work keeps the role engaging and provides ample opportunities to expand your technical and creative skills.
