Job description

The Vice President of Sales will drive revenue growth and expand market presence within the retail display and fixtures industry. This role is responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, cultivating key client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities with retailers, brands, and commercial partners. The ideal candidate brings deep industry expertise in custom retail fixtures, POP displays, millwork, and merchandising solutions, along with a proven track record of closing high-value deals.

Key Responsibilities:
Revenue Growth amp; Strategy
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales and business development strategy aligned with company growth objectives
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with national retailers, brands, and design agencies
  • Drive revenue growth through both new client acquisition and expansion of existing accounts
  • Establish pricing strategies, bid structures, and contract negotiations to maximize profitability
Client amp; Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key clients and stakeholders
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on retail environments, store design, fixtures, and merchandising solutions
  • Lead client presentations, proposals, and pitch strategies for large-scale programs
  • Manage long-term partnerships with major retail accounts and enterprise clients
Market amp; Industry Leadership
  • Monitor market trends in retail design, shopper experience, and fixture innovation
  • Identify emerging opportunities in areas such as experiential retail, sustainability, and modular fixtures
  • Represent the company at industry trade shows, events, and networking functions
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with design, engineering, and production teams to develop client solutions
  • Ensure alignment between sales commitments and operational capabilities
  • Support project teams in managing client expectations, timelines, and deliverables
*Please note that this role requires up to 50% travel.

Qualifications
Required Experience
  • 10+ years of experience in sales and business development, preferably within:
    • Retail fixtures
    • Store displays (POP/POS)
    • Custom millwork or fabrication
    • Retail environments or visual merchandising solutions
  • Proven success selling into retailers, CPG brands, and commercial clients
  • Demonstrated ability to close large, complex, multi-location programs
Skills amp; Expertise
  • Strong network within the retail and merchandising industry
  • Expertise in consultative selling and solution-based sales approaches
  • Exceptional negotiation and contract management skills
  • Strategic thinker with strong financial and business acumen
  • Ability to interpret retail design concepts and translate into production solutions
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with national retail chains or global brands
  • Background in custom manufacturing, fabrication, or supply chain operations
  • Familiarity with materials, production processes, and fixture engineering

Compensation
The base salary range being offered is $150,000 - $175,000 per year. This position is also bonus eligible and provides a comprehensive benefits package.

The base salary range for this position is being included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that base salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, qualifications/experience, performance in the role and potential for revenue generation.
