This company located in Santa Anna, CA has been in the business for over 40 years supporting aerospace, medical, and other industries across the country. With about 35 machines and 80 employees, the company is rapidly growing

In this position, the CNC Mill Machinist will work on set up and operation of 3-5 axis mills. Running multiple machines, these will be complex, one off parts as well as some production runs.

This role offers a 4x10 schedule M-Th with optional overtime. Shift will depend on skill level with an opening on 1st shift for candidates with strong 5 axis set up experience and 2nd shift for candidates with strong 3 axis set up experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate CNC mills for short run, complex parts

  • Edit programs at the machine on occasion

  • Perform inspections to ensure conformance of specifications

  • Interpret blueprints for specifications such as dimensions, tolerance & instructions

  • Select and secure holding fixtures, tools, etc

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in setting up and operating CNC mill machines

  • G & M Code experience

  • Knowledge of safetyprotocolsand shop procedures

  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
