What You’ll Get To Do:

The Security Officer Unarmed will be responsible for ensuring the security and safety of our property and tenants. The Security Officer Unarmed will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Monitoring and authorizing entrance and departure of employees, tenants, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises
  • Patrolling premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates
  • Monitoring and responding to alarms and investigate disturbances
  • Writing reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences
  • Providing excellent customer service to tenants and visitors

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Security officer training certification preferred
  • 2 years of proven work experience as a Security Officer or similar role
  • Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle stressful situations and remain calm under pressure
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Schedule Sat/Sunday 3pm-11pm and 11p-7am (24 hours/week)
