Job description

Floor Crew Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Floor Crew Assistant with prior cleaning experience to join our team. This position requires Night Shifts with a flexible schedule, including some weekends, varying shift times, and occasional long hours.

Most importantly, we are looking for someone with a strong desire to learn and grow in the field of Floor Care. This role offers hands-on training and exposure to multiple floor care methods and systems, making it an excellent entry point into a long-term career as a professional floor technician.

START IMMEDIATELY - Schedule and Location: Fort Lauderdale- Monday through Friday 10pm-5am (35hours/Weekly).

What Youโ€™ll Do:

  • Floor vacuuming and equipment cleaning.
  • Floor mopping cleaning.
  • Place proper safety signage and taping off and secure work areas.
  • Sweeping, mopping (dry & damp), dusting
  • Refilling water on equipment and properly disposing of dirty water.
  • General cleaning tasks as needed
  • Follow all safety procedures and requirements.

What We're Looking For:

  • 1-year of professional floor care experience.
  • Floor care experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with environmental services practices is a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with continuous exposure to cleaning agents and dust.
  • Must be able to work overnight shifts including weekends.
  • Ability to travel across Miami-Dade, Broward & Palm Beach.
  • Must have reliable transportation to/from the work site(s).
  • Must successfully complete hospital clearance. requirements, including required immunizations and medical testing conducted by the hospital.
  • Valid Florida driver's license.
  • Must be able to pass a Background Check.
  • Must be able to pass Drug Test.
  • Bilingual English & Spanish preferred.
