Job description

Shangri-La Springs, in the heart of downtown Bonita Springs, is a historic center for vitality through healing arts and nature.  That ethos permeates all aspects of the property, from the full-service organic spa to the certified organic farm-to-table restaurant that utilizes produce grown on the property itself.
 Shangri-La Springs is growing!
We are seeking a dedicated, full-time field crew assistant to work in our organic garden that not only provides produce for our on-site farm-to-table restaurant, but is also toured by guests daily.
Duties Include:
  • Responsible for hand weeding and hoeing the organic garden, fruit orchard, and surrounding food production areas.
  • Assisting in the daily harvesting as instructed by the organic garden manager.
  • Watering and irrigation monitoring, tool and workspace cleaning, and other garden field assigned tasks.

This position requires typical physical demands for farm labor, such as walking, standing, reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, squatting, lifting up to 50 lbs and working outdoors in cold, hot or wet conditions on uneven surfaces.
This is a full time position, Monday-Friday.
