Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• Travel experience is preferred.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: ProLink Staffing Program - Bassett Healthcare Network and no current placement allowed at Program: ProLink Staffing Program - Bassett Healthcare Network.

• 12 months gap required between for Part-Time at Program: ProLink Staffing Program - Bassett Healthcare Network and no current placement allowed at Program: ProLink Staffing Program - Bassett Healthcare Network.

Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Please upload any certifications or health documents you have to your profile to expedite your on-boarding process.

Additional Details:

Previous travelers that have worked at Bassett for 1 year must take a 9 month break before returning as a traveler.

Required Credentials: Driver’s License/State ID

Special Requests: All sonographers are expected to be well-versed in the requirements of an IAC-accredited vascular lab.

  • Shift & Scheduling:
  • On-Call Rotation: Sonographers participate in a rotating call schedule, which includes:
  • o 1 weekday evening on-call every other week
  • o 1 weekend on-call approximately every fifth week

7 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 07/04/2026, 09/07/2026, 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027, 05/31/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1
