About this role

This position will be responsible for defining and executing the local strategy in alignment with regional/global guidelines, leading cross-functional initiatives across marketing, product, and customer experience. The role will have team leadership responsibilities and will manage local and regional stakeholders.

Roles Responsibilities
  • Define and execute local digital strategy aligned with regional/global goals.
  • Drive growth through market insights and KPI optimization.
  • Lead cross-functional execution across marketing, product, and operations.
  • Own P&L, ensuring revenue growth and profitability.
  • Manage stakeholders and build high-performing, data-driven teams.
Position Requirements
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Strategic thinking with high autonomy in decision-making.
  • Deep understanding of the local market and industry trends.
  • Experience as Country Manager or in a similar role.
Qualifications
  • 7+ years work experience in Money Transfer companies, payment disbursement, and/or cross-border payments.
  • Proven experience and knowledge in matters related to the UAF, CMF, SII, and regulations concerning remittances in general.
  • Proven experience in direct negotiation with banks and stakeholders related to the business.
  • Strong analytical mindset with data-driven decision-making.
  • Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of the Chilean market (Fintech/payments is a plus).
  • Advanced English (required).
