Our Tangible Asset Incentive Services team helps clients manage tangible assets in a way that enhances their return. These business advisors specialize in solutions that span cost segregation studies, energy credits and incentives, fixed asset consulting and tangible property regulations. Responsibilities

  • Helps with project planning and to direct engagements

  • Conducts site inspections

  • Analyzes information and identifies technical issues

  • Completes estimates of real and personal property building components

  • Produces client deliverables

  • Communicates project status with internal and external clientele

  • Reviews junior members' work product

  • Helps present findings to clientele

  • Assists with development and maintenance of client service templates

  • Mentors and develops junior team members

  • Adheres to the highest degree of professional standards and strict client confidentiality

  • Provides timely, high-quality client service that meets or exceeds client expectations

  • Assists with practice development

Qualifications

  • 4- year degree, license eligible required

  • Minimum three (3) years of experience required

  • CPA, EA, MAI, ASA, CMI, or PE designation preferred. If not certified, must meet educational requirements to obtain license upon hire in state of employment

  • Experience performing cost segregation studies or related construction duties such as estimating preferred

  • Experience with the federal rules and regulations governing tax depreciation preferred

  • Ability to mentor and train junior team members

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to multi-task while maintaining careful attention to detail and accuracy

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software

  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 20%

The pay rate range for this position is listed below. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of relevant factors including but not limited to applicant's skills, prior experience, qualifications, degrees, professional certifications, work arrangements and geographic location. Baker Tilly offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package to eligible employees.

Bay Area: pay rate range is $86,500 to $141,560.
