Financial Analyst

Location: LaPorte, Indiana (Fully Onsite)
Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and analytical Financial Analyst to join our growing manufacturing team in LaPorte, Indiana. This fully onsite role will support financial planning, cost analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and operational decision-making within a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in manufacturing accounting or finance, strong cost accounting exposure, and the ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze manufacturing costs, inventory, labor, and overhead variances to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and monthly performance analysis.
  • Partner with operations and plant leadership to provide financial insights that support business decisions and profitability initiatives.
  • Support month-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analysis.
  • Develop and maintain financial models, KPI reporting, and ad hoc analysis to support strategic planning and operational performance.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required.
  • 2-5 years of experience in financial analysis, cost accounting, or manufacturing finance.
  • Experience within a manufacturing environment with strong understanding of cost accounting principles.
