Summary of Role:

Participate in all aspects of the product costing process at GlobalFoundries.

Essential Responsibilities:

Participate in all aspects of the product costing process at GlobalFoundries. This includes assisting with the build up of cost for specific products, budget P&L preparation support as well as monitoring actual performance against the budget, and involvement in strategic business case support as part of our long range planning process. Support team members located in the US, Germany and Singapore. Support monthly forecasting, actuals and variance analysis. Develop product specific cost for products manufactured at our factories in the USA, Germany and Singapore. Interact with factory leaders to understand and help describe operational issues that affect GF's cost efficiency. Report to executive leadership the monthly financial results with a focus on cost performance Drive diligent cost analytics in support of new product business cases. Maintain and support cost information that feeds the GF Long Range Strategic Planning process. Ad hoc analysis and reporting defined by the needs of the business.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements, and programs.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education - Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, a related field, or foreign equivalent.
  • Experience 2 years of post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or any related finance roles. Applicants must possess at least 2 years of experience in the following: (1) manufacturing finance or cost accounting; (2) monthly close process including journal entries and account reconciliations; (3) ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP to create inventory and cost reports; (4) performing analysis of variances including the absorption of fixed cost and impact of volumes; (5) create forecast models and tools for tactical and strategic planning; (6) presenting materials to both finance and non-finance stakeholders; and (7) variance accounting.
  • Telecommuting permitted less than 50% per week within the same geographic location as the assigned GlobalFoundries office location.

Expected Salary Range

Salary range: $92,700 -$ 120,700/year
