Job Title/High-Level Position Summary:
As an Enovis Manufacturing Engineer, you will take ownership of managing and improving assigned manufacturing processes to support strategic factory goals. You will support the Senior Manufacturing Engineering Manager by continuously driving assigned sustaining and new product introduction projects to completion while delivering efficient processes for equipment, systems, capitol justification and workflow
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, maintain, and improve process specifications, operating procedures, process controls, etc.
  • Develop and maintain manufacturing engineering standards, labor standards, maintenance records, production routings, BOM standards, work instructions, etc.
  • Provide production support to ensure manufacturing equipment and processes are operating safe and efficiently.
  • Research and evaluate new and existing processes, operations, and support systems for adaptation and/or improvements needed to manufacture Enovis products.
  • Provide Digital/CAD support for shop floor layout.
  • Manage the installation, operational, and production qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ) of new and existing CNC/Robotic equipment.
  • Conduct engineering studies in support of CNC/Robotic process validations. Write process/product specific protocols and validation reports.
  • Implement cost reduction initiatives using Lean manufacturing principles in support of Enovis Growth eXcellence program (EGX).
  • Develop process control solutions that are integrated into production or manufacturing process control systems e.g., vision systems, laser sensors, in-process/post process gage systems, data collection, etc.
  • Conduct feasibility studies to ensure that implementation of recommended improvements would meet objectives with respect to safety, quality, market demands, competitive costs, and general financial criteria.
  • Identify and implement corrective and preventative actions for scrap and rework. Provide engineering inputs in conjunction with the Quality group in support material disposition.

Minimum Basic Qualifications:
  • BS in Engineering, Science, or related field with 3+ years' experience.
  • 3-4 years verifiable experience in a CNC manufacturing environment.
  • Relevant knowledge in med-device, or similar field of CNC manufacturing process development; QC Inspection; Process Monitoring (SPC).
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Attention to Detail.

Travel Requirements:
  • The ability to travel, on occasion, as needed for business. Generally, < 5%
