Manufacturing Staffing Manager

Company:

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Manufacturing Staffing Manager (Level K) to join our 777 FAC team in Everett, Washington.

A manager in this role will use their business, leadership and people skills to inspire a safe work environment and exceptional performance to develop and execute business plans, policies and procedures. Successful candidate must be able to develop and maintain relationships with customers, stakeholders, cross-functional support and direct reports.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Review weekly Short Range Forecast gaps

  • Review weekly HC by name data

  • Run Monthly Staffing Meetings with FLL (All Shifts, set up over two weeks currently)

  • Work action items taken from Staffing Meeting

  • Support Interviews as needed

  • Align Incoming FTC employees to shops based on Short Range Forecast and Shop needs

  • Align FTC employees to managers as they get scheduled to Report to Shop

  • Support level loads using Shift Preference list for all shops

  • Work/Support ERTs for incoming/outgoing employees with Workforce team

  • Update Staffing data monthly

  • Update FTC, LD and LOA boards monthly

  • Update Staffing boards with IE to align with barchart updates

  • Work with FLL on SOJT Get to Green/On Schedule

  • Support any Staffing Requests for Senior Leaders/Director

  • Work with other Staffing Focals on a as need basis with employee movement

  • Support Monthly Resource Leader Meeting with Workforce team

Boeing First-Line Leader Assessment:To be considered for this position you will be required tocomplete an assessment as part of the selection process. Failure to complete the assessment willremove you from consideration

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience in Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing environment

  • 3+ years of experience applying continuous improvement tools and techniques

  • 3+ years of experience working within a cross-functional organizational environment

  • Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader,tempmanager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course "Exploring Leadership."

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience);

  • 5+ years of experience managing Key Performance Indicators within Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Compliance and Manufacturing data

  • 5+ years of experience using Quality Management System (QMS) and/or Boeing Production System (BPS)

  • 5+ years of Experience in reviewing engineering drawings and manufacturing plans
