About the Opportunity

Our client, a global leader in advanced manufacturing and technology solutions, is seeking a Cost Control Specialist to join their team in San Jose, CA. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a finance-focused professional to support manufacturing operations through cost analysis, financial reporting, and cross-functional collaboration.

The ideal candidate will have experience in cost control, operational finance, supply chain, or accounting functions and thrive in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor operational costs and support monthly Profit & Loss (P&L) analysis.

• Conduct cost tracking and variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and cost-saving opportunities.

• Coordinate Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) activities and support procurement processes.

• Partner with operations and manufacturing teams to improve financial performance and operational efficiency.

• Assist with billing activities, inventory monitoring, and expense tracking.

• Prepare financial reports and analyze data using SAP, Excel, and other reporting tools.

• Support management with financial insights, reporting, and ad hoc analysis.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in cost analysis, finance, supply chain, operations support, or a related discipline.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis.

• Experience supporting AP/AR processes.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments.

• Mandarin language proficiency required.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or production environments.
