Job description

Position Title: Controller
Salary: $95,000- $145,000/ Year DOE
The Controller will own the monthly close, prepare and review journal entries, analyze financial statements and variances, oversee AP and invoicing, manage reconciliations, support cash management, resolve accounting and tax issues, and help strengthen processes across a complex multi-entity and joint venture environment. This is a high-autonomy role for an organized, proactive accounting professional who can solve problems end to end, prioritize effectively, and operate confidently with minimal handholding.
Responsibilities:
  • Own monthly close and financial reporting across multiple entities and JVs
  • Prepare journal entries and analyze financial statements, variances, and discrepancies
  • Oversee AP, invoicing, reconciliations, and inventory-related accounting
  • Manage cash flow, prioritize payments, and communicate with vendors
  • Resolve tax notices and customer, vendor, and accounting issues
  • Improve and automate accounting processes and systems
  • Partner with leadership to support business and JV growth

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 2+ years of public accounting experience or prior Accounting Manager/Controller experience
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong financial analysis and reconciliation experience
  • Multi-entity accounting experience with strong ownership and problem-solving skills
  • Highly organized, proactive, and able to prioritize independently
  • Strong communication skills and comfort with a direct work environment
  • NetSuite and manufacturing, JV, government, international, or inventory accounting experience preferred
