Automotive Technician (Entry to Master Levels) - Full-Time, No Weekends

Location: Columbia, MO

Full-Time

Pay Range: $35,360 - $104,000

Master Tech: $30–$50 Flat Rate with Guaranteed Hours (Discussed in Interview)

Experienced: $23–$29 Flat Rate with Guaranteed Hours (Discussed in Interview)

Entry Level: $17–$22 Hourly

Responsibilities (Based on Level)

All Levels:

  • Perform routine maintenance (oil changes, tire rotations, inspections, etc.)
  • PMI/Digital Inspections – Provide service recommendations to advisers
  • Maintain accurate paperwork and a clean, safe work environment
  • Represent All-Star Automotive at events and digital platforms
  • Assist management as needed
  • Knowledge of diagnostic tools and equipment (level-appropriate)
  • Willingness to participate in in-house training
  • Ability to operate tools (level-appropriate)
  • Strong listening and communication skills

Master Tech:

  • Advanced diagnostics and testing procedures
  • Perform complex repairs – Fix it right the first time
  • Mentor apprentices and growing technicians

Experienced:

  • Learn and perform diagnostic procedures
  • Perform intermediate repairs under guidance

Entry Level:

  • Entry-level maintenance tasks (oil changes, tires rotations, etc.)
  • Learn advanced procedures and assist senior techs

Preferred Certifications:

  • State Vehicle Inspection License (Must obtain within 60 days)
  • ASE Certification (Plus if already obtained)

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid Driver’s License (less than 3 violations in 3 years)
