POSITION OBJECTIVE:ย Contributes to the overall success of technology sales by creating sourcing / inventory efficiencies, effective training, sales/ marketing and product development.

Work Schedule: Monday- Friday 8:00AM-5:00PMย 

Position Responsibilities Include:

  • Receive and track POs for technology. Review invoices to ensure accuracy.
  • Track and analyze shipping data from our technology vendors. Hold weekly meetings with vendors to get weekly updates on shipping and inventory. Update point of contacts and emails for vendors. Coordinates installations with customers and vendors.
  • Effectively demonstrate and train prospects and customers on the features and benefits of our educational technology products via virtual conferencing platforms and in-person presentations that are engaging and informative.
  • Supports IT Help Desk for internal users.
  • Assists with end-user technical support requests.
  • Assist Technology Specialist in projects.
  • Partner with vendors to meet market needs to include sourcing existing product or developing new product.
  • Partner with Kaplan Creative Team to provide merchandising information for catalog and digital page layout, including item number, copy, pricing, and image. Proof page layouts to ensure the best representation of product features, benefits and construction.
  • Ability and willingness to travel occasionally travel overnight approximately 10% of the time for conferences, sales calls, and installations.

Position Requirements Include:

  • Two-year college degree in a related field preferred but will consider candidates with industry experience in lieu of degree.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in technical support.
  • Knowledge of marketing early childhood education technology with 2-4 years of experience in early childhood industry a major plus.
  • Impressive verbal & written communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of Video Conferencing platforms.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to accomplish tasks independently and work collaboratively within a team.
  • Ability to present technology to a group via video conferencing.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Familiar with Interactive boards, pre-k curriculum, and a general knowledge of educational technology a plus.
