Job description

Multi-disciplined engineering firm is looking to add a Construction Department Manager to their Milwaukee team!



Responsibilities:
  • Manage Construction Services Department
  • Work directly with clients and contractors
  • Assist with project design
  • Manage staff and their assignments
  • Mentor/train junior staff
  • Serve as project manager on complex projects
  • Prepare proposals/contracts
  • Monitor progress schedule/shop drawing log
  • Review pay requests and verify work is completed
  • Travel to job sites as needed


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Construction Engineering
  • 12+ years of experience in construction or municipal engineering
  • PE License preferred
  • Experience in construction management of municipal/public improvement projects (water mains, wastewater mains, and roadways)
  • Experience in interpreting plans, specifications, technical procedures and governmental regulations


Salary is commensurate with experience.
