Job description

Do you have Account Management experience, and are you seeking a new job in the Rochester New York? HVAC Distributors, Inc. is looking for a full-time Account Manager to join their team. The role comes with an attractive salary and benefits package, including a company car with a gas card.

As an Account Manager, you will develop an annual Territory Plan in conjunction with the Regional Manager. You will define sales strategies and action plans for identified target accounts and prospects within the territory, including establishing new residential dealers and light commercial contractor accounts, growing sales volume with current accounts, and maximizing share of customersโ€™ equipment spend.

In the Account Manager role, you can expect to work on the following:

  • Establish new residential dealers and light commercial contractor accounts, grow sales volume with current accounts, and maximize share of customersโ€™ equipment spend
  • Ensure personal face-to-face contact and continuous improvement of rapport and productive relationships with decision-makers in all classes of customers and prospects in the assigned territory
  • Manage the process to convert dealers to company equipment brands and ensure achievement of all related internal and external deliverables, including assignment of pricing, dealer levels, services, and training

The ideal candidate for this Account Manager position will have 5 years of Account Management experience. 3 years of sales experience selling to contractors would also be beneficial.
