Job description

Job Title: Program Support Analyst II Report to: Contract Supervisor Customer: Department of State Location: 600 19th Street NW, Washington, DC 20006 Classification: Exempt GS Equivalent: GS-12 Step 1 This position is located in the Office of Program Management & Operational support and serves as an active participant in analyzing management information on the regional and program performance, to include project development and implementation; technical assistance; and monitoring and assessment of project performance to provide support to Passport Service executive, program, and field offices. Analyze information obtained from weekly/monthly reports, and other audits or validation studies to identify overall business process strengths and problems. Analyze workload productivity information and identifying production/productivity performance problems.

Make recommendations for problems resolution or enhanced production/productivity. Analyze policies and procedures for accuracy. Coordinate operational initiatives that require the involvement of multiple agencies/centers or regions and external Directorate offices.

Perform management and program analyses. Establish/maintain cooperative working relationships with coworkers and officials representing organizations within and outside the Department's Bureau of Consular Affairs. Communicate effectively both orally and in writing to include presenting information at meetings and drafting and editing policy/decision papers for management, and providing assistance and training.
