Description:

The project scheduler is ultimately responsible for:

  • Driving and implementing internal scheduling tools

  • Performing reviews and comparisons of GC issued contract monthly schedules and 3 or 6 week look-ahead schedules.

  • Updating/reporting to project team and office on project health and address any areas of concern monthly or as needed/required.

  • Working with the project team to develop appropriate scheduling requirements utilizing the contract as baseline guidance, then adding other tasks according to the risk level for project.

  • Helping develop QA/QC and Commissioning scheduling, utilizing the contract schedule as baseline.

  • Incorporating change orders into baseline schedule and perform time impact analysis reporting and backup as needed.

  • Identifying risk in weekly schedule comparison utilizing Microsoft Office (Excel and Word), along with both Primavera and Microsoft Project software.

  • Interfacing with owners and contractors on project progress versus milestones.

  • Compiling schedule and progress reports (Actual vs. Plan)

  • Working with the project team to develop appropriate requirements.

  • Dening primary, secondary, and tertiary critical path.

  • Dening key milestone nish variance against the baseline schedule.

  • 25-50% travel locally between Office/Jobsite locations

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in a role as construction scheduler.

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • College degree preferred but not required.

  • Experience in Ground-up construction; Healthcare, Water and Wastewater experience.

  • Experience at a GC or other subtrade. Experience in electrical project scheduling is preferred.

  • Experience with owner reps, general contractors and subcontractors involved with the project.

  • Procient in the use of Primavera scheduling systems.

  • Procient in the use of Microsoft Project scheduling systems.

  • Procient in Bluebeam and Excel.

  • Ability to work positively and composed under time pressure and deadlines

  • Self-motivated and proactive

  • Possess demonstrated skill in identication and solving of problems in an individual and team structure.

  • Excellent organization, communication, and time management skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment with co-workers, contractors, sub- contractors, and customers.
