Job description

Are you a people-focused marketing professional who thrives on building partnerships, creating memorable experiences, and driving brand awareness? We're looking for a Partnership & Brand Activation Manager to lead strategic partnerships, community engagement, sponsorships, and brand initiatives that help grow our company and strengthen our reputation.

If you're creative, organized, and passionate about connecting with people, we'd love to hear from you!

About McKinnis Roofing and Sheet Metal: At McKinnis Roofing and Sheet Metal, we take pride in our commitment to excellence in roofing and sheet metal services. With over 45 years of experience, we have established ourselves as a trusted leader in the industry. We are dedicated to delivering our clients top-notch craftsmanship and exceptional customer service.

Position Overview: McKinnis has committed to a major regional sports and entertainment partnership at the top sponsorship tier. This role exists to own that relationship end to end โ€” turning a significant sponsorship investment into measurable residential and commercial pipeline rather than impressions alone.

Approximately 90โ€“95% of this position is dedicated to managing and activating this partnership. The remaining 5โ€“10% supports multimedia content production (job-site photography, drone footage, and brand content), with scope left intentionally open so the role can absorb broader content responsibility over time as the partnership matures.

Key Responsibilities:

Partnership Management (primary)

  • Serve as the primary day-to-day contact with the partnership's rights-holder; manage contract deliverables, asset inventory, and fulfillment timelines.
  • Plan, staff, and execute gameday and event activations โ€” hospitality, tabling, signage, promotions, and on-site brand presence.
  • Coordinate co-branded creative and campaign assets with the marketing team, aligned to McKinnis brand standards.
  • Manage the partnership budget, vendor relationships, and activation logistics.
  • Identify and activate B2B opportunities (commercial / GC relationship visibility) and B2C opportunities (residential retail lead capture) within the partnership.

Attribution & ROI (primary โ€” critical)

  • Build and maintain lead-attribution tracking for all partnership activities, integrated with AccuLynx and marketing reporting.
  • Capture and report partnership-attributed leads, pipeline, and closed revenue on a monthly cadence.
  • Continuously test and optimize activation tactics against cost-per-lead and ROI, not vanity metrics.

Multimedia Content (secondary โ€” scope open)

  • Capture and edit photo and video content from partnership events, game days, and (as capacity allows) job sites.
  • Operate drones for aerial footage where appropriate (FAA Part 107 required or obtained within first 90 days).
  • Maintain an organized asset library so content is reusable across campaigns, social, and sales playbooks.
  • Support mobile-first content for Meta and short-form channels.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Public Relations, or a related field (preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience in partnerships, marketing, business development, brand management, or event planning.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Creative thinker with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Comfortable attending occasional evening or weekend events.

What Success Looks Like

  • Increased brand awareness in target markets.
  • Strong community and business partnerships.
  • Successful execution of events and sponsorships.
  • Growth in qualified leads generated through partnerships.
  • Positive ROI on marketing and partnership investments.
  • Enhanced company reputation within the community.

Why Join Our Team?

  • Competitive compensation package
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance benefits.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company match.
  • Ongoing training and professional development.
  • Opportunities for career advancement within a growing company.
  • A positive and inclusive work environment where teamwork and hard work are recognized and appreciated.
