Profound is the marketing platform for the AI era. As people increasingly turn to ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini to decide what to buy, we give brands the intelligence to see how AI represents them and the Agents to act on it. Today, ~13% of the Fortune 500, plus companies like Ramp, Figma, Chime, Calendly, and DocuSign, use Profound to turn AI Search from a black box into a measurable growth channel.
Backed by Lightspeed, Sequoia, Kleiner Perkins, and Khosla Ventures at a $1B valuation, we're a lean, fast-moving team across NYC, SF, Buenos Aires, and London, shipping at a relentless pace and defining a new category at the biggest shift in marketing in 25 years. If you want to do the best work of your career at the frontier of AI, come build it with us.
We are hiring a Product Manager, Web Presence to own our marketing website end-to-end. This isn't a maintenance role. It's a high-impact, high-ownership position for someone who treats the website as a revenue asset, obsesses over craft and design, and is determined to make it the best in the industry. You'll sit at the intersection of marketing, design, and engineering, and you'll be the person who keeps our web experience sharp, fast, and converting.
If you're the kind of person who bookmarks great websites, thinks in conversion funnels, and loses sleep over a CTA that isn't performing, this is your role.
What you'll do
  • Own the marketing website end-to-end as a pipeline and conversion asset, including CMS, architecture, and performance
  • Work with the marketing team to enable them to build out template pages and be content owners
  • Define and maintain conversion paths and customer journeys across the site, from first touch to webinar to demo request
  • Run a continuous testing and optimization program (A/B, multivariate) to improve conversion rates across key pages and CTAs
  • Partner with PMM to ensure messaging, positioning, and content are accurately reflected across the site and updated with each launch
  • Partner with design to brief, review, and ship new page designs and site updates, serving as the marketing-side owner in the creative process
  • Manage the relationship with engineering to scope, prioritize, and QA web development work
  • Own and maintain the marketing web roadmap and backlog; run sprint or project cycles to keep work moving
  • Establish and report on web KPIs: traffic-to-MQL conversion, page engagement, demo request rate, and more
  • Constantly scour the web for great websites and make our website an excellent resource for prospects and customers

Who you are
  • 4+ years in a web product, growth, or digital marketing role
  • Strong design sensibility and obsessive attention to craft; you have a point of view on what makes a great website, you can articulate it, and you hold every page and interaction to that standard
  • Hands-on experience with CMS platforms, A/B testing tools, and web analytics
  • Comfortable working across marketing, design, and engineering without losing momentum
  • Highly organized with a bias toward shipping; you run a tight backlog and keep projects moving
  • Obsessive about conversion and deeply curious about what makes buyers take action

Location
This is an on-site role based in our NYC office, designed for builders who thrive on speed, iteration, and meaningful impact.
For this role, the expected base salary range is $160,000 to $230,000, depending on experience. Profound's total compensation package includes base salary, equity, and a full range of benefits and perks. Final compensation will depend on factors such as your skills, experience, qualifications, and location, and will be determined during the interview process. Our recruiting team will share more details about the full compensation package and benefits as you move through hiring.
