Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant
Location: Portland, ME 04102
Duration: 3 months+ with possible extension
Shift timing -
Start Time: 7:00 AM.
End Time: 7:30 PM.
Position Information:
  • Specialty: Neuro/Client/Trauma.
  • Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36/48.
  • Weekend Hours: Every other weekend.
  • Call Requirements: No.
  • Float Requirements: As needed.

Education & Certifications Required:
  • Required Certifications: Maine CNA certification.

Unit Information:
  • Number of Beds: 26 (R6), 12 (Bean 2), 9 (IMC).
  • Patient Ratios: 1:8, 1:6, 1:3 (IMC).
  • EMR: Epic.

Hiring Profile:
  • Must Have Skills/Experience: Acute care/hospital experience.
  • Preferred Skillset/Experience: Neuro/Neurosurg/Med-Surg.
  • Type of Patients on Unit: Neurosurgical patients (spinal surgery, spine fractures, brain tumors), seizure disorders, VP shunts, head bleeds, traumatic injuries, joint replacement surgery.
  • Personality Fit: Proactive team player with positive attitude. Work-focused.

Dress Code:
  • Scrub Color: Any.
  • Unacceptable Attire: Must maintain professional appearance. No ear buds/personal cell phones. Will terminate contract related to this.
