POSITION PURPOSE:
We are seeking a Network Development Analyst with 3-5 years of direct industry experience to join our team. This role will support the planning, optimization, and expansion of our fiber network infrastructure. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and has a working understanding of telecom networks, fiber contracts, and market dynamics. This is a hybrid position and will require collaboration with teams across multiple regions. Some travel required, 15% or less.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
  • Experience:
    • 3-5 years of direct experience in the fiber or telecom industry.
  • Technical Knowledge:
    • Working understanding of fiber pricing structures (e.g., O&M, colocation, etc.).
    • Familiarity with telecom networks, including fiber architecture and infrastructure.
  • Contract and Negotiation Skills:
    • Familiarity with IRU and DF lease renewals.
    • Ability to read and understand fiber contracts and assess their implications.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:
    • Ability to optimize network paths and propose solutions for market expansion.
  • Communication Skills:
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
  • Computer Proficiency:
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Technical Tools & Mapping Software:
    • Experience with GIS platforms, Google Earth, or telecom-specific tools for mapping and network planning.
  • Project Management Experience:
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
