Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Contracts the Contracts Manager will analyze and negotiate contracts between Veralto Water Quality operating companies and customers and suppliers. This position will partner with field and corporate sales, purchasing, and other internal stakeholders to understand and deliver contract needs.

This position is part of the Contract Administration department and will be hybrid in one of the following locations: Loveland, CO; Glen Allen, VA; Wood Dale, IL or London, ON (Canada).

In this role, a typical day will look like:

  • Review, draft, redline, negotiate, and manage a broad range of contracts and amendments.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to move agreements from intake through execution with speed and sound judgment.
  • Identify contractual risks, recommend practical solutions, and escalate non-standard issues when needed.
  • Manage multiple agreements simultaneously while maintaining quality, accuracy, and responsiveness.
  • Support continuous improvement of contract processes, templates, and reporting.
  • Use contract tools, workflows and AI technology to maintain clean records, visibility, and follow-through on obligations.

The essential requirements of the job include

  • Bachelor's and Juris Doctor degrees required
  • 4-5+ years of experience in business law with emphasis in contract drafting, negotiation, and review, or a related field
  • Experience reviewing, revising, negotiating, and summarizing commercial contracts, including customer and supplier agreements
  • Experience with contractual, indemnification, and insurance concepts.
  • Experience with document tracking / contract lifecycle management systems and AI technology.
