Position Summary 
The Supervisor of Stores Contract Maintenance assists the Manager of Stores Contract Maintenance in ensuring that each Contract Maintenance Provider (EMP) is executing to the maximum levels of efficiency regarding the receipt, storage, issuance, transfer and shipment of all aviation materials related to the EMP operation. This role assists in engaging the EMP Stores Operations to ensure that training and process development are ongoing to support the EMP Maintenance and provide accuracy in PSA Airlines Inventory.
Job Responsibilities 
  • Assists in providing direct oversight of contract Stores operations.
  • Assists in training the EMP team in all aspects of Stockroom operations that are applicable to their respective job classifications. This includes, but is not limited to:
    • Computerized management and issuance of materials
    • Hazmat training
    • Shelf life training
    • Cycle counting
    • Storage, packaging, and receiving of materials
    • Proper disposal of hazardous, scrap or BER materials per established company guidelines
  • Assists in ensuring that the Contract Maintenance Provider is consistently following PSA policies and procedures within the day to day stores operations, including but not limited to:
    • Participates in delivery and implementation of new training requirements developed by PSA Airlines.
    • Audit stores processes to ensure that we are uniformly compliant, consistent, and within company processes and procedures.
    • Performs project management functions relative to:
      • Planned Physical Inventories
      • Annual Tool Calibration
      • Development and improvement of metrics including, but not limited to Cycle Count Accuracy, Cycle Count Completions, fill rates relative to Right Start and Controllable Completion Factors as the opportunities arise.
      • DOD base audits
      • IATA audits
  • Projecting a strong commitment to the uncompromising promotion of safety and regulatory compliance.
  • Responsible for the Company's Security and Safety Management System (SMS) and associated Safety Risk Management and Safety Assurance outputs.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications 
Required
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years’ experience inventory management, materials control or supply chain.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office programs.
  • Must be able to obtain airport SIDA badging.
  • Must be able to speak, read and write in English.
  • If hired, must be able to demonstrate that you are authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred
  • Associates or Technical Degree.
  • At least two years of facility maintenance experience.
  • One year of experience in a supervisory capacity.

Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment.  This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, telephones, photocopiers, facsimile machines and filing cabinets.
