Job description

Job Title: Epic Radiant Analyst
Location: Remote (U.S.)
Employment Type: Contract (W2 through ZipStaff — No C2C or 1099)

About the Opportunity
ZipStaff is seeking an experienced Epic Radiant Analyst to build, configure, and support Epic Radiant for a major healthcare organization.

In this role, you will partner with radiologists, technologists, schedulers, clinicians, and operational leaders to optimize radiology and imaging workflows, support integrations with PACS and related systems, and deliver reliable Radiant functionality that meets operational and regulatory requirements.

What You’ll Do:
  • Build, configure, and maintain Epic Radiant to support radiology and imaging department workflows.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, schedulers, clinicians, and operational leaders to gather requirements and optimize system functionality.
  • Support integration of Radiant with PACS, DICOM imaging systems, dictation/transcription platforms, and other Epic applications.
  • Troubleshoot issues, perform system maintenance, and provide end-user support for radiology workflows and imaging operations.
  • Participate in system implementations, upgrades, testing, validation, and optimization activities.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, workflow designs, and training materials for clinical, operational, and IT staff.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies, including HIPAA and imaging-related requirements.
  • Partner with project managers, operational stakeholders, and technical teams to deliver Epic-related initiatives on time and within scope.
  • Analyze and improve radiology scheduling, imaging orders, results reporting, and charge capture workflows to enhance operational efficiency and user satisfaction.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, Radiologic Technology, or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience or 4+ years of direct Epic Radiant application support experience in a healthcare environment.
  • Epic Radiant Certification (or ability to obtain certification within an agreed-upon timeframe after start).
  • Strong understanding of radiology workflows, including scheduling, imaging orders, result reporting, and imaging department operations.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting Radiant scheduling, orders, results, reporting work queues, charge capture, and operational radiology workflows.
  • Familiarity with Epic interoperability tools (including Bridges) and experience troubleshooting interfaces and data exchange issues.
  • Prior involvement in Epic implementations, upgrades, optimization initiatives, or workflow redesign projects.
  • Experience supporting enterprise imaging platforms, radiology reporting solutions, and voice recognition/dictation systems.
  • Experience supporting integrated clinical applications in a large healthcare environment.
