Job description

We are seeking positive, enthusiastic, and quality minded Experienced individuals with Data and Telecommunications cabling, IT Network systems troubleshooting and broadband cabling and repair.  As a Field Technician, you will install, repair, and/or test, as required, network cabling and/or equipment as specified by end user requirements. We are seeking only experienced individuals.  The persons we select will be hired as preferred contract technicians.

The right persons will provide quality work, grow into a skilled network specialist and work in an ever expanding and growing field. We are looking for positive, motivated, and quality minded people who want to make a difference.
Looking for technicians to work in Northern CA, Western Nevada, Stockton and the south, Bay area.
Responsibilities:

  • Installation and repair of data and CCTV Cabling as required for Broadband circuits and data systems support
  • Installation and maintenance of communication and network data systems
  • Installation and maintenance of video and audio systems and components
  • Investigate customer issues, identify, repair, and implement solutions
  • Survey and specify installation and system requirements to meet customer requirements
  • Order and maintain inventory stock supplies
  • Must have and maintain own Truck, SUV or utility vehicle
  • Must have own tools; i.e. Wireless drill, punch tool, RJ11/RJ45 crimper, 6' - 10' ladder, etc...
Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of data cabling and using Microsoft office
  • Previous experience in telecommunications, Data cabling, Networking and Video systems, or other related fields a must. Familiarity with telecommunications equipment, network, video and audio cabling, and computer and network configurations.
  • Comfortable using a laptop and have one available with Windows 8 or better installed
  • Knowledge of construction materials, tools, and techniques helpful
  • Comfortable with Windows and Microsoft software and configuration tools
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Strong attention to detail
