Job Title: Level 1 Credit Analyst

Department: Credit

Reports to: Credit Manager

Base Pay Scale: $43,125 - $59,000


Summary: 

Geneva Capital LLC is a dynamic national equipment finance company. We remain focused on long-term growth, providing professional opportunities and promoting teamwork. We are looking to add a hardworking and highly motivated individual to our Operations Team. 


Duties and Responsibilities:


Credit Responsibilities 

  • Compile customer credit files for assigned sales rep/analyst pairing
  • Analyze applications for credit worthiness while making credit decisions in a timely manner
  • Follow up on credit applications and related application materials
  • Daily interaction and servicing of in-house salespeople and of customer requests
  • Establish relationships with Geneva Capital's customers
  • Provide credit write-ups and recommendations with detailed justification of decision
  • Communicate regularly with customers, salespeople, and all team members. 
  • Handle leasing or lease structure questions
  • The periodic review of company credit standards

Documentation Responsibilities 

  • Identify appropriate lease documentation needed to secure Geneva Capital's position, including verifying contract structure for specific transactions and discussing documentation when needed

Other Business Responsibilities

  • Perform various other duties as assigned
  • 2-4 days per year worked outside of normal business hours 


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary degree in Business
  • Experience working in Salesforce

Physical Demands:

  • Prolonged periods sitting/standing at a desk and working on a computer

Supervisor Responsibilities:

  • This job has no supervisory responsibilities
