Job description

Job Title: Pharmacy Technician


Job Locations: Redlands, CA 92374


Shift: Monday - Friday: 12 PM - 9 PM (Day Shift)


Pay Rate: $20.00/HR to $21.00/HR

 

Job Description:

  • Under the direct supervision of a pharmacist, selects, picks and packages medications and supplies in preparation for shipment to patients.
  • Assists in various inventory control processes as needed.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Selects, picks, packages and labels medications and ancillary supplies per prescription, under the direct supervision of a pharmacist in accordance with the specialty guidelines and pharmacy laws.
  • Accurate counting of medications utilizing a manual process as well as any automated counting devices.
  • Responsible for cleaning all pill counting devices/equipment and general working areas.

 

Required Qualification:

  • **Must have Active California Pharmacy Technician License**
  • Three months of work Experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
  • Knows Drug names and basic Pharmacology knowledge and Pharmacy Law.
  • Understands Medical Terminology utilized in a Pharmacy.

 

Education:

  • Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required.
  • Active California Pharmacy Technician License (with no infractions or violations).
