This role is provides support at our stores in Vancouver, British Columbia.

What Will You Be Doing?

  • Responsible for the execution of Asset Protection initiatives in assigned locations5-10stores,as well as,implementation of shortage reduction programs in high shrink location(s)

  • Provide in person and remote support to local store management to meet strategic asset protection objectives

  • Perform operational audits of store districts within the Company focusing on sales floor fullness, stockroom organization, health and safety, human resources compliance and customer service

  • Routine monthly travel to Focus Stores.Manage Focus Store program to ensure store compliance, and follow up on sub-standard performers

  • Provide clear and consistent training to all store personnel on Asset Protection Initiatives. safety communication guidelines and current crisis management protocols

  • Commit to the highest degree of professionalism, integrity,and customer service

  • Complete APand Physical Securityaudits on a routine basis.

  • Complete specialprojects asassigned by Regional Manager of Asset Protection.

  • Optimizeinventory accuracy through effective executionand managementof physical inventories, store transfermonitoringand OMNI compliance.

  • Facilitate supply chain investigations to positively impact inbound carton loss and forced carton compliance.

  • Proactivelymonitorsystemsand conduct surveillance toidentifyand investigate associate dishonesty.

  • Conductinternalinvestigations for inventory, cash loss, and violations of policy.

  • Prepare case reports covering investigation and case details

  • Manage initial investigative processes for all internal investigations within assigned alignment and theDistrictwhen applicable

  • Serve as a liaison between store/APA investigations and certified market interviewers

  • Support investigations related to internal loss throughout the assigned region while partnering with GHO Analysts

  • Conduct surveillance using CCTVandfloor techniques to apprehend and deter theftin accordance withcompany apprehension policies

  • Initiate and resolve investigations related to Organized Retail Crime while partnering with law enforcement and other retail organizations

  • Represent company in court proceedings related to investigations

  • Maintain an effective relationship withstore leaders, peer retailers,mallsecurityand local law enforcement partners

  • Provide clear and consistent training to all store personnel on safety communication guidelines, acts of violence, and current crisis management protocols

  • Utilize analytics software to develop specific store loss prevention strategies

  • Participate in corporate operational test programs to gaugeviabilityof program evolution.Provide relevant observational data to the Global Home Office to inform policy decisions

  • Responsible for ensuringaccurateexecution of Store Programs.Routinely provide relevant feedback to store leadersregardingoperational efficiency

  • Effectivelyidentifyand implement solutions toeliminatestore margin erosion

  • Support new stores through physical store visitation and pre-open audits to ensure smooth andtimelyopenings

What Do You NeedToBring?

  • 4-year degree preferred

  • 2 or more years of experience in Asset Protection, multi-location experience preferred

  • Strong communicationand interpersonal skills

  • Ability to evaluate circumstances and maketimelydecisions based on company apprehension guidelines

  • Ability to work nights,eveningsand weekendsappropriate toretail business needs

  • Must pass a comprehensive background investigation

  • Must have a reliable means of transportation

This role supports multiple locations across Canada. Therefore, in states and cities that require the hourly or salary compensation or pay range to be included in a job posting, the recruiting pay range for this position is $22.00- $27.00/hr CAD.
