Job Overview:

The Consumer Insights Manager for Juice, Snacks, Mixers is responsible for ensuring the voice of the consumer is heard in all business decisions. This person will report directly to the Vice President, Consumer Insights and will serve as the strategic consumer thought partner for the Juice, Snacks, and Mixers portfolio, translating consumer understanding into growth opportunities, innovation strategies, portfolio decisions, and marketplace action. They will lead the development of consumer, category, and competitive insights to help shape the future direction of the business. Specific responsibilities will include:
  • Own the holistic Juice, Snacks, and Mixers insights agenda, including strategic learning plans, growth opportunity identification, and recommendations that drive business action.
  • Provide thought leadership and influence cross-functional teams through complex strategic business decisions and growth initiatives.
  • Develop deep expertise in consumer occasions, need states, and category dynamics across Juice, Snacks, and Mixers to identify emerging growth opportunities and unmet consumer needs
  • Synthesize primary research, syndicated data, marketplace trends, competitive intelligence, and business performance metrics into a forward-looking view of category evolution, portfolio opportunities, and actionable business recommendations.
  • Identify emerging consumer needs, whitespace opportunities, and innovation platforms that can unlock future portfolio growth.

Build a Sustainable Growth Strategy
  • Support the Brand and Innovation teams in the development of long-term product and brand strategy and annual brand marketing plans including business objectives, consumer and channel strategies, and translation of strategies to the consumer through all elements of the marketing mix.

Deliver Consumer Insights That Drive Action
  • Own consumer insight development and deliverables to ensure insights are translated into actionable marketing plans. Translate and communicate brand's unique selling propositions to key stakeholders - consumers, customers, and cross-functional partners including senior management.

Innovate How We Learn
  • Lead the development and implementation of new insights capabilities to elevate consumer understanding and business impact.
  • Explore and apply emerging methodologies, AI-enabled tools, and advanced analytics to accelerate learning and improve decision-making.
  • Continuously evaluate new technologies, data sources, and approaches to uncover deeper consumer understanding while driving efficiency and speed to action.

Drive Customer Engagement Through Innovation, Communication Strategy & Messaging
  • Leverage strong storytelling skills to develop impactful reporting and output to influence key stakeholders and ultimately drive action across our brands and categories.
  • Help the Brand Marketing, Innovation and Commercial teams to develop consumer-centric innovation and build compelling selling stories that leverage our brand equities and inform category dynamics.

  • Drive organizational and customer engagement behind brand strategies to generate excitement, align on priorities, and ensure we deliver strong execution

  • Set high performance standards, measure for success, and adjust plan to deliver against growth agenda.

Total Rewards:
  • Salary range $98,600 - $145,000
  • Actual placement within the compensation range may vary depending on experience, skills, and other factors
  • Benefits, subject to election and eligibility: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Paid Time Off (including paid parental leave, vacation, and sick time), 401k with company match, Tuition Reimbursement, and Mileage Reimbursement
  • Annual bonus based on performance and eligibility

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or MBA from an accredited institution, major in Business, Marketing, Market Research, Psychology, Sociology or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of consumer market research experience, to include study design, management and application of various types of market research with 3+ years of CPG experience.
  • 10-15% travel may be required based on business needs.
