Job Description

We are seeking an Office Manager to join our well-established and successful construction & real estate development firm.  This individual should have experience in the construction field and ambitions to grow with increased responsibility and management. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, a positive attitude, flexibility, enthusiasm, dependability and trustworthiness.

This job offers a great opportunity for involvement with all aspects of running a small construction company. The office manager will wear many hats as this position also includes some HR and Executive Assistant functions including payroll, contract support, answering & screen calls, serve as the go-to person for all office needs. 

The successful candidate will have the following:

  • Construction experience
  • Experience with Quickbooks
  • Experience running complex payroll on a bi-weekly basis
  • Must be fluent in Spanish
  • Ability to engage with all levels of internal staff as well as external contractors
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Excellent sense of organization and attention to detail
  • Excellent phone and customer service skills
  • Resourceful and competent-- ability to accomplish tasks without assistance and sees tasks through to completion
  • Dependable, reliable and punctual
  • Track new jobs and project status
  • Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency
  • Advanced knowledge of attachments (pictures, scanning etc,)
  • Computer savvy with proficiency in MS Office applications (Outlook, Excel and Word)
  • Accurate Data-Entry; Typist
Qualifications

Job Type: Full-time, Monday through Friday

Required education: High school or equivalent

Required Experience: 3 years Office Management & Construction Project Management: 1 year

Required language: Spanish
