Job description

Job Title: Construction Punch List Tech

Location: Charlotte, NC


This role may be for an experienced hardscape installer ready to move into a quality control job. Position requires experience with hardscape construction, identifying quality issues, managing warranty work, communicating with customers and project managers, and coordinating and performing repairs.



What You'll Do:

  • Replace warranty plants, trees, and shrubs
  • Repair patios, pavers, retaining walls, stone walkways, fire features, and other hardscape features
  • Troubleshoot and repair drainage issues
  • Diagnose and repair irrigation systems
  • Address punch list items on completed projects
  • Communicate professionally with homeowners onsite
  • Fix/repair post-installation issues reported by Clients under their warranty period, such as settling stones or failed mortar joints and dead plants

What We're Looking For:

  • 2 - 3 years of experience with planting, plant installation, and repair work
  • Experience with pavers, patios, and hardscaping repairs
  • Knowledge of drainage solutions and irrigation systems
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work
  • Ability to work independently and manage daily tasks
  • Ability to take photos on a cell phone and use a mobile application with training
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to work some overtime
