About the Job:
FFE is offering a BIM Management Co-op position to work alongside our Cincinnati team. This paid, in-person position provides students with the opportunity to apply their classroom knowledge through hands-on experience supporting Building Information Modeling (BIM) standards, project delivery, and digital design workflows.
As a BIM Management Co-op, you will work closely with our BIM Manager and project teams to help maintain model quality, support project coordination, and contribute to the continuous improvement of FFE's digital practice. Co-ops are treated as integral members of the team, collaborating with staff at all levels while developing valuable technical and professional skills.
What you'll be responsible for:
  • Support project teams with Building Information Modeling (BIM) workflows and Revit model management.
  • Assist with model setup, organization, quality control, and adherence to company BIM standards.
  • Help maintain Revit families, templates, libraries, and other digital resources.
  • Participate in model coordination and clash detection efforts.
  • Assist with the implementation and documentation of BIM processes and best practices.
  • Support project teams with technology-related questions and troubleshooting.
  • Conduct research on emerging BIM technologies, software tools, and industry best practices.
  • Participate in project meetings, training sessions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Engage in hands-on learning to build technical and professional capabilities.

Here's What You'll Need (Basic Qualifications)
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
  • Maintain a GPA of 2.75 or above on a 4.0 scale.
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Revit is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of BIM concepts or experience working within multidisciplinary building models is preferred, but prior BIM management experience is not required.
  • Familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud, Navisworks, Dynamo, or other BIM-related tools is a plus but not required.
  • An interest in BIM, digital project delivery, and design technology.
