Overview
This position's primary function is to keep the facility clean in order to eliminate safety and fire hazards.The individual in this position will work in the Planer. This person will be asked to perform the following tasks; general facility clean up including picking up slabs, sticks, sawdust, chips off lower mill floors, and assist with dust mitigation. Wage: $23.34

Responsibilities
  • Pick up slabs, sticks, sawdust, and chips off lower mill floors
  • Assist with dust mitigation
  • Maintain a safe environment and comply with all safety policies and procedures
  • Apply good housekeeping standards to your work area or any area you observe

Qualifications
  • Completion of high-school or equivalent preferred but not required
  • Sawmill experience preferred but not required
  • Must be able to safely work at a moderate to fast pace
  • Lifting is 20-30 pounds on a continuous basis
