In this role, you will design and develop mechanical components and systems for our power distribution products, ensuring manufacturability, quality, and performance in a fast-paced production environment.

This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with strong mechanical design skills and a passion for precision engineering to make a tangible impact on innovative, American-made electrical equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and draft transformer components, enclosures, and assemblies using AutoCAD and Solid Edge, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and manufacturability.

  • Translate engineering concepts and customer requirements into detailed mechanical drawings, models, and bills of materials (BOMs).

  • Collaborate closely with senior engineers, production, and quality teams to resolve design challenges and ensure seamless handoff from design to manufacturing.

  • Participate in order reviews, cost analyses, and project planning to ensure designs meet technical, schedule, and budget requirements.

  • Support the quote and order development process by preparing accurate design information and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
