A conflicts analyst reviews legal situations where a law firm, corporation, or another organization may have conflicts of interests which compromise its decision-making or legal obligations to its customers, shareholders, or other stakeholders. Most conflicts analysts work for law firms, especially large ones that employ many lawyers and have numerous clients who may cause conflicts, though some work for consulting companies or are independent contractors. As a conflicts analyst, your duties are to research the backgrounds of the clients and cross-reference their history with any relationships that may create a conflict or legal issue in a case. Then you advise the organization of their options for resolving the issue.
