Job description

About this role:

The Senior Conference Planner for Speaker Sourcing and Management is a critical role supporting the onboarding and logistical coordination for our invited guest keynotes and case study speakers at Gartner Conferences. This role is integral to the operational efficiency and effectiveness of the Gartner Speaker and Sourcing Management team. This role will report into the Sr. Manager, External Speaker Management, who oversees the overall executive speaker sourcing strategy.

What you'll do:

  • Own the coordination and pre-conference preparation for all executive speakers, ensuring speaker meets all legal requirements, and collecting marketing materials and slides
  • Manage speaker systems, databases, and spreadsheets for operational efficiency
  • Effectively collaborate with and communicate speaker permissions and expectations with internal teams
  • Ensure deadlines are met by both speaker and internal teams
  • Screen submissions for potential speakers based on conference themes and objectives
  • Onboard guest speakers and manage an exceptional onsite experience
  • Actively identify and resolve challenges during the planning phase and onsite to ensure a seamless experience
  • Assist with strategic projects to enhance speaker team operations

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 2-3 years professional work experience

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 55,000 USD - 83,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
