Job description

Responsibilities but not limited to:
  • Monitoring daily store revenue transactions with internal system and interfacing the data from internal system to accounting system (SAP)
  • Managing, monitoring and reconciling daily bulk sales and AR balances with Quick book and SAP
  • Managing commission sales
  • Monitoring intercompany AR/AP transactions
  • Reconciling bank and credit card transactions
  • Identify and resolving revenue discrepancies by coordinating with store and accounting/finance team.
  • Performing daily, weekly, monthly and yearly closing for stores, distribution center and whole sales
  • Preparing and managing general journal entry related revenue transactions
  • Supporting for annual audit field work
  • Handling all gift certificate related tasks including ordering, distributing and reporting
  • Other related special projects as required.

Qualifications / Skills:
  • Must be eligible to work in the US
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business related field - Finance, Economics, or Statistics preferred. (Candidate's equivalent experience and accounting principle knowledge may be considered instead of the degree requirement.)
  • 1-2 years' experience in an applicable field is preferred, but not required. H Mart has an extensive training program and candidates with the equivalent office experience will be considered.
  • General understanding of accounting processes and functions
  • Excellent communication skill and ability to work in a cross functional team environment
  • Collaborating with team members to facilitate group work
  • Working knowledge of Excel and Word
  • Experience with computerized accounting systems (SAP R3 experience a plus)
  • Must speak, read and write Korean /Basic English comprehension required.
