We are currently seeking a Computer Support Technician - On-Site to join our team in Los Angeles, California (US-CA), United States (US).
Job Title: Computer Support Technician - On-Site (Hospital Environment)
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Computer Support Technician to join our on-site IT team at a hospital. This role is responsible for supporting, repairing, replacing, and relocating computers and peripherals throughout the facility. While healthcare experience is a plus, it is not required. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to service excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide hands-on support for desktop computers, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Install, configure, and upgrade operating systems and applications.
  • Relocate and set up IT equipment for staff moves and department changes.
  • Use ServiceNow to manage and document support tickets and work performed.
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to minimize disruption to patient care.
  • Escalate complex issues to higher-level support teams when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital IT policies, including data security and privacy standards.
  • Support mobile devices and hospital-specific applications.
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding of hospital staff from an IT perspective.
  • Participate in routine maintenance, patching, and updates of systems.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor in all interactions.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in a healthcare or hospital environment (preferred but not required).
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong customer service orientation and attention to detail.

Certifications (Preferred but Not Required):

Education & Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical training in IT preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical support role.

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this role is $29-$31/hour. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
