Job description

Description:

We are seeking a skilled Computer Assembler to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling computer components and ensuring that they function properly. Using assorted hand and power tools, you will assemble and tests basic and complex electro-mechanical subassemblies, computer chassis and computer systems. Must be able to follow various drawings, blueprints and written or oral instructions. The ideal candidate will have experience in computer assembly and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities:

  • Assemble computer components according to specifications
  • Uses tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, crimpers, power drivers, soldering irons, drills, taps, tests, and other hand/bench equipment.
  • Under limited supervision works from assembly procedures, prints, verbal and written instructions to build computers, subassemblies, cable harness, and complete computer systems
  • Communicates ideas that help improve the process, quality, product or work conditions
  • Maintains a clean and organized work area
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Minimum 1 year directly related experience, 2+ experience preferred

- Proven experience in computer assembly

- Knowledge of computer hardware and software components

- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics

- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

- Good communication and interpersonal skills

- Available to work Monday to Friday 7AM to 3:30PM
