Job Context

The Manager of HR Systems and Tools is responsible for managing and optimizing the full HR technology stack, ensuring it aligns with the company's strategic goals and operational needs. This role will oversee system configuration, integrations, and data management, while partnering with HR, IT, and business leaders to deliver technology solutions that support our employees and drive business success.
As the primary owner of Workday and other HR systems, this role will ensure the effective delivery of HR services, reporting, and compliance.

What You'll Do

HR Tech Stack Ownership:

  • Serve as the primary owner of Workday and other HR technology platforms, ensuring seamless operation and optimization.

  • Lead the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of all HR systems, including integrations with other business platforms.

  • Evaluate, recommend, and implement new HR tools and technologies to support business objectives and improve user experience.

System Strategy and Optimization:

  • Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for HR systems and tools, ensuring scalability and alignment with organizational goals.

  • Partner with HR and business leaders to identify system enhancements and solutions that support talent acquisition, performance management, learning and development, and other HR processes.

  • Continuously improve system functionality, workflows, and reporting capabilities to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.

Data Management and Reporting:

  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance across all HR systems.

  • Develop robust reporting and analytics capabilities, providing insights to support data-driven decision-making.

  • Partner with HR leaders to create dashboards and reports for tracking key metrics such as headcount, turnover, and employee engagement.

Vendor and Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Manage relationships with HR technology vendors, ensuring service-level agreements are met and staying informed about system updates and enhancements.

  • Collaborate with IT to manage system integrations, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure compliance with security protocols.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to HR leadership on technology trends and best practices.

Team Leadership:

  • Build and lead a high-performing HR systems team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

  • Provide training and support to HR team members and end-users to ensure effective use of systems and tools.

What You'll Bring

Required:

  • 7+ years of experience in HR systems management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

  • Extensive hands-on experience with Workday, including implementation, configuration, and optimization.

  • Proven success managing a full HR tech stack, including integrations with other business systems.

  • Strong understanding of HR processes and workflows, including talent management, payroll, and compliance.

  • Expertise in data analysis, reporting, and dashboard creation using HR systems.

  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead system implementations and upgrades on time and within budget.

Preferred:

  • Experience in a global SaaS or tech environment.

  • Familiarity with other HR tools and platforms (e.g., ATS, LMS, performance management tools).

  • Knowledge of data security and compliance regulations.

  • Certification in Workday or other HRIS platforms.
