Position Summary

Overall management, leadership, and oversight responsibility for all Quality Management System (QMS) and certifications, companywide. Responsible for ensuring that all internal and external quality objectives are achieved, involving industrial processes, materials, and products by performing the following duties:

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

· Responsible for the development, implementation, certification and ongoing continuous improvement of the QMS systems and procedures with the SAE AS91000 and ISO 9001, Aerospace standard and other future industry and regulatory standards as applicable across all ACDI sites

· Lead integration of process / procedures across all current / future sites with end goal of merging certifications

· Participate in evaluation of QMS systems at future acquisition targets

· Ensure compliance with electronics manufacturing IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 standards including employee training certifications as applicable

· Lead gap-analysis / qualifications / certification process to new QMS standards, as business needs arise

· Ensure that standards and methods for incoming, in-process, and final inspection, testing and evaluation are maintained and adhered to

· Collaborate with the Supply Chain team for qualification of external suppliers, development and application of quality clauses, and oversight for the implementation of inspection processes to ensure conformity of supplied material and services and monitoring of supplier performance

· Responsible for Internal Auditing process, including conducting internal auditor training and ensuring that internal audits are completed on time and accurately

· Represent management during third party audits with BSI, customers, UL, etc.

· Participate in senior management meetings, and strategy sessions, aligning quality department with corporate goals / directives

· Oversee completion of customer questionnaires in a thorough and timely manner

· Provide oversight to collect, compile, analyze and report on quality data utilizing ERP system tools as applicable across all 3 sites, driving data driven decision making

· 3-4 visits per year to other sites to further promote corporate quality directives

Specific Educational / Experience Requirements

· Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) from a four-year college or university is required

· Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Quality Manager role, preferably within an electronics manufacturing services (EMS) company

Job Skills

· Prior experience working with and / or implementing as AS9100 program preferred

· Knowledge of IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001

· Registered lead assessor course required or equivalent training / experience within 6 months of employment unless completed prior to employment

· Excellent communication and organizational skills, professional disposition and strong manager skills

· Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

· Ability to multi-task under tight deadlines with changing priorities and schedules

· Strong initiative and ability to work independently and collaboratively
