Job description

Job Summary:
Cymertek Corporation is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to join their cybersecurity team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the security posture of information systems, ensuring compliance with security policies, and managing risk through robust security measures.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain system security plans (SSPs)
• Perform regular risk assessments and audits
• Monitor compliance with security policies and procedures
• Oversee system vulnerability management and remediation efforts
• Ensure adherence to security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, RMF)
• Collaborate with teams to address security incidents and findings
Qualifications:
Required:
• TS/SCI Full Poly clearance
• U.S. Citizenship
• Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Network Security, Systems Engineering, Information Assurance, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Software Engineering, Cyber Risk Management, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• Proficiency in security frameworks like NIST RMF or ISO 27001
• Strong understanding of access control and authentication mechanisms
• Ability to manage and analyze security tools (e.g., SIEM, vulnerability scanners)
• Knowledge of incident response and reporting processes
