Job description

Job Summary:
RWJBarnabas Health is the premier health care destination providing patient-centered, high-quality academic medicine. The HRIS Manager is responsible for overseeing the strategic management, optimization, and daily operations of the RWJBH retirement plans, ensuring the HRIS supports organizational goals and enhances employee experience.
Responsibilities:
• System Administration & Optimization as it relates to retirement plans
• Manage configuration, maintenance, and security of the HRIS platform
• Participate with the HCM team on system upgrades, patches, and integrations with payroll
• Ensure accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality of employee data
• Develop and deliver workforce analytics, dashboards, and compliance reports for leadership and audit
• Provide ad hoc reporting as needed from PeopleSoft and Fidelity
• Partner with external recordkeeper to streamline processes and enhance employee experience
• Identify opportunities to leverage technology for efficiency and improved user experience
• Create and update process flows for operational efficiency
• Provide guidance and training to HR staff and end-users on system functionality
• Serve as the primary point of contact for HRIS-related issues and troubleshooting
• Ensure HRIS practices align with federal, state, and healthcare industry regulations
• Maintain system security protocols and safeguard sensitive employee information
• Collaborate with HCM, IT, Finance, Payroll and Operations to align HRIS capabilities with organizational needs
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field required
• Minimum of 7-10 years of HRIS experience
• Experience managing HRIS systems in large, complex organizations (preferably healthcare)
• Proven track record of leading system implementations, upgrades, and integrations
• Strong knowledge of HRIS platforms (eg. Workday, Oracle, SAP SuccessFactors, PeopleSoft)
• Proficiency in HR data reporting, analytics, and compliance requirements
• Ability to analyze complex data sets and provide actionable insights
• Skilled in troubleshooting system issues and implementing effective solutions
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate across departments
• Strong organizational skills with experience managing large-scale HR technology projects
• Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work in an office environment
• Occasional travel to various health system locations throughout New Jersey
• Extended periods of computer work and data analysis
