Assistant Director – Full Time
Sign-on Bonus + Enrollment Bonus 

Bambini Montessori Academy is excited to welcome a caring, motivated, and organized Assistant Director to our leadership team! Our school serves children from infancy through age 5, offering a nurturing, Montessori-inspired environment where curiosity is encouraged and community is cherished. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about early childhood education, enjoys supporting teachers, and thrives in a collaborative, family-centered atmosphere.

What You’ll Do
  • Partner with the Center Director to ensure smooth daily operations, including staffing, scheduling, and enrollment.

  • Support and mentor teachers through coaching, observations, and hands-on classroom assistance.

  • Help maintain beautiful, Montessori-aligned learning environments that meet all MSDE/OCC regulations.

  • Manage accurate child and staff records and assist with compliance and licensing documentation.

  • Build strong, positive relationships with families—providing support, guidance, and great communication.

  • Assist with tours, events, and family engagement activities that strengthen our school community.

  • Serve as the acting Director when needed, ensuring high-quality care and safe operations.

  • Participate in staff training, onboarding, and ongoing professional development.

What We’re Looking For

(MSDE/OCC-compliant)

  • MSDE Lead Staff qualification required

  • Education Requirement (one of the following):

    • Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or related field

    • OR 90-hour Preschool Certification + 45-hour Director/Admin Course + 2 years of child care experience

  • CPR/First Aid, Basic Health & Safety, and 9-Hour Communication Course

  • Ability to pass a background check and medical clearance

  • Experience in leadership or administration in a licensed center preferred

  • Knowledge or interest in Montessori philosophy is a plus!
