Job description

Roots for Health clinic (Greenlake) is seeking a part time Patient Services Assistant/Front Desk Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be positive, self-motivated and a dedicated individual who is excited about naturopathic, alternative medicine. We support 5 providers and offer a unique blend of treatment types from primary care, nutritional support, physical medicine and acupuncture.

Currently a part time position is available.  With possible future full time availability.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent computer skills

  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and switch gears quickly

  • Excellent verbal, written (grammar), and time management skills

  • A high level of professionalism and business ethics, good communication skills

  • Interest in holistic integrative medicine is encouraged

  • Attentiveness to detail and demonstrative skills in troubleshooting and critical thinking

  • 1+ year experience in a professional office setting is preferred

Main Responsibilities:

  • Complete a thorough set of clinic opening and closing protocols

  • Check patients in and out for their appointments, scheduling on Charm, our Electronic Health Records system. 

  • Process payments from patients and handle quickbooks entries

  • Scheduling, daily logs, patient communication

  • Assist with office procedures including phone calls, emails, check mail, EHR, faxes, lab requests, etc.

  • Assist doctors and other staff to coordinate smooth office operations

  • Maintain HIPAA compliance at all time

This is a small Naturopathic clinic offering general medical services, acupuncture, massage, craniosacral therapy, visceral manipulation, women's care, digestive health and more. We have affiliations with Bastyr University and much of our staff has graduated from there.
